Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have hired different companies for various homes along the way. The job for our current home by FLORIDA SCREEN & SHUTTER is perfect. Its a year later and we use it for storm protection as well as sun shade. Very pleased with the representatives to the installers. FIVE STARS.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team that installed our Magna track system worked so well together. The installation went flawless. I am so pleased with how the screens look and operate. It will certainly extend the use of our lanai even more. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for any type of shutters or screens.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update 8/21/26 kudos to Dallas. He did a an awesome job with replacement with upgraded motors and remotes. I had MagnaTrack Defender Hurricane Screens installed on my lanai. The remote only worked correctly on one of the two screens then same screen jammed up part way down. First reported 2-3-26. It took close to 3 months to get service. On 3-30-26 two technicians spent close to 2 hours trying to correct the out of alignment frame causing the issue that was installed incorrectly. I was told that I should be opening/closing screens on a weekly basis and lubricating quarterly with L.C Wax Aluminum Lubricant. This information was NOT shared with me at the time of installation!! You can visually see the screen is out of alignment at the top. I was told they would contact the office and report findings. It is now 4-30-26 and no response. Sent text 4-7-26 NO RESPONSE. I called and left a VME on 4-22-26 NO RESPONSE. Sent text 4-27-26 NO RESPONSE. Keep in mind, these screens have NOT seen a hurricane yet! It is unfortunate it came to this - All I want is what I paid for to work as intended. Respectfully

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an excellent experience with Florida Screen and Shutter. The entire team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish.

Mike and Dallas arrived on time, did a fantastic job with the installation, and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. They were courteous, patient, and took the time to explain the operation of the system, including helping us get everything set up on our smartphones. Most importantly, they genuinely wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with the installation.

Nidia and Charlie were equally great to work with, always responsive to our questions and helpful throughout the process.

The finished installation looks amazing, and the Magna Track product is truly top-notch. We highly recommend Florida Screen and Shutter to anyone looking for quality products and outstanding customer service.

Thank you to the entire team!

With Hurricane Milton looming, they helped me extract several screws that were painted over and helped hang my shutters before the storm hit. Same day service!

What more can I say about Mike and his company that everyone else hasn't already said? Nothing short of fabulous ). From the time I met Mike for a bid on Magnatrack hurricane screens, I knew his company and product were what I wanted. His knowledge, professionalism, and experience are outstanding, and his friendly and caring attitude sold me. The process was very smooth, and Mike and the crew installed my screens in one day!! The quality of materials is great and the installation is beautiful. I love my screens and will always use this company for any other screen needs I may have. AAA+++

My parents recently had new hurricane screens installed by Florida Screen & Shutter, and they couldn't be happier with the experience. Charlie handled the sales process, and Mike took care of the installation. Mike was very professional, and the installation was quick and seamless. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the service provided was top-notch. Some neighbors down the road have a competitors hurricane screen, but after comparing, there's no contest. My parents' new hurricane screens are flawless—no wrinkles, and they look fantastic. We highly recommend Florida Screen & Shutter to anyone looking for quality work, great service, and a fair price!

Storms Aren’t Just a Possibility.
They’re a Guarantee.

Living in Southwest Florida means facing the reality of hurricane season every year. From June through November, powerful storms can strike with little warning. High winds, flying debris, and driving rain can cause serious damage to your home and leave your family vulnerable. Without the right protection in place, you're left hoping for the best instead of knowing you're prepared.

What You Have Might Not Hold Up.

Many homes in Southwest Florida rely on outdated shutters or standard windows that were never designed to withstand a major hurricane. Builders often choose minimum code requirements, not long-term protection. That leaves gaps in your defense, and you may not realize it until a storm is already on the radar. By then, options are limited, stress is high, and your home is at risk.

OUR SERVICES

Every brand · including companies that no longer exist

Shutter Service, Repair & Maintenance

Most repairs come down to a track, a wheel, a slat or a motor. Salt air is what kills hurricane hardware down here, so a system that has not moved in a few seasons usually needs service rather than replacement. Best found out in June, not the day before a storm.

Motorized Hurricane Screens

Up to 30ft in one span with no centre post, so the lanai stays a view.

MagnaTrack Defender UltraShield

We manufacture

Roll-Down Shutters

Built in our Cape Coral shop on a box sized to your opening.

55mm double wall 63mm single wall Nautilus

We manufacture

Accordion Shutters

HVHZ approved under FL1850. Permanently mounted, closed by hand in minutes, most openings per dollar.

Impact Windows & Doors

EAS units, permitted and installed. Nothing to deploy, working whether or not you are in the state.

Bahama Shutters

Permanent shade on west-facing glass and real curb appeal, with storm protection built in.

Storm Panels

Steel, or clear Lexan if you want daylight through them. The most protection per dollar if you are willing to put them up.

Retractable Insect & Solar Screens

Bugs out, breeze in, and gone when you do not want them. Not storm rated.

Pool Cage Rescreening

Rescreening and repair on the enclosure you already have. Good money after a storm, and we do all of it.

A note from the owner

Thank you. Three years ago this company was a storage unit, a folding table and a phone number. The customers who took a chance on us then are the reason there is anything here now — and to everyone who has worn our shirt, the crew today and the ones who have moved on, thank you for what you put into it. The last couple of years tested us. We came through the storms and we came through a stretch that would have closed a lot of businesses, and we are still standing, leaner and a lot harder to knock over. I am on job sites. I am on installs. Every dollar goes back into this company. We are just getting started.
